Pollen forecast Labin

Labin rises on a hillside above the eastern Istrian coast and the Kvarner Gulf, surrounded by olive groves and Mediterranean vegetation with somewhat fresher hinterland. The pollen profile is coastal — olive, wall pellitory, and cypress — with mild influence from the hillier hinterland.

Main allergens and season

• Late winter and early spring (January–March): cypresses and other cupressaceous species (Cupressaceae).
• Spring (April–June): olive as the leading spring allergen of eastern Istria.
• Spring to autumn (March–October): wall pellitory (Parietaria) on stone walls and in crevices, with a long season.
