Pollen and allergies — Kutina

Kutina lies in Moslavina, at the edge of the Lonjsko Polje wetland, in a low-lying and humid region with many meadows and fields. Such a setting favors grasses throughout summer and ragweed in late summer.

Main allergens and season

  • Spring (March–May): alder, willow and ash along the waters of Lonjsko Polje, birch and hornbeam from surrounding forests.
  • Late spring and summer (May–July): grasses from humid Moslavina meadows.
  • Late summer and autumn (August–September): ragweed along roads, fields and abandoned land — in Posavina and Moslavina distinctly strong.
