2. What Data We Process

pelud.net is an informational site with no user registration. We process:

• Technical access data — IP address, User-Agent, referrer, and page URL — processed by Cloudflare for abuse protection and basic traffic analytics. Cloudflare does not use cookies for this purpose.
• Local city selection — your selected city is stored in your browser's local storage as lastCity. This data remains in your browser only and we do not access it.
• Your allergen settings — your allergen sensitivity weights are stored in your browser's local storage as allergenSensitivities. When fetching forecasts, we send them to our server as query parameters to personalize the display; we do not store them in a database.

3. Cookies and Advertising

Currently, pelud.net does not use advertising networks, analytics tools, or other third-party scripts, and does not set advertising or analytics cookies.

We plan to introduce Google AdSense advertising. Before the advertising scripts go live, we will implement a Google-certified consent management platform (CMP) that supports IAB TCF v2.2, which will request consent from visitors from the EEA, United Kingdom, and Switzerland before loading AdSense scripts and setting advertising cookies. These privacy rules will be updated when advertising is introduced.

• Technical processing for site security — legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) of the GDPR).

5. Your Rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

• access to your personal data that we process;
• correction of inaccurate data and completion of incomplete data;
• erasure of data (the "right to erasure");
• restriction of or objection to processing;
• data portability;
• withdrawal of consent at any time.

To exercise your rights, contact the data controller. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Croatia, this is the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP).

6. Retention Period

Cloudflare retains access logs on a short-term basis (up to 30 days). Data stored in your browser remains until you manually delete it or clear all browser data.
