Pollen forecast Prilep

Prilep lies in the northern part of Pelagonia, at the foot of Selečka Mountain, at an altitude of about 650 meters. The city is known for tobacco growing, and the arable land of Pelagonia — cereals, tobacco, meadows — shapes its pollen season to a large degree, with a marked peak of grasses and cereals in late spring and early summer.

Main allergens and season

• Late winter and early spring (February–March): alder along the Crna and in the riparian woods of Pelagonia.
• Spring (April–May): birch in the city greenery and parks, alongside it ash.
• Late spring and summer (May–July): grasses are the longest and most demanding season — the meadows, pastures, and cereals of Pelagonia give abundant pollen.
• Late summer (August–September): ragweed on unmanaged land along roads and on neglected plots, with mugwort leading the way from July.
